Hey everyone! Just curious, what gun do you keep by your bedside at night? Whether it’s for home defense or just peace of mind, I’m interested in hearing about your go-to firearm and if you use any lights or safes with it.

In my worthless opinion, a gun is worthless in a safe. When you need a gun, trying to open a gun safe is probably next to impossible when seconds count.

None of my guns are locked up. All are ready to fire.

I keep my duty gun out and ready. STI 40 cal with HL1000 Streamlight and 3 22 round mags. 2nd gun is a H & K USP Tactical with 3 12 round mags, 45 ACP.

Plain old S&W Shield, in a bedside safe with instant fingerprint access. I have a granddaughter who just took her first steps, which is all the explanation needed.

In the corner I keep 7.5" AR-15 braced pistol with Omega 300 suppressor, Sig MSR RDS, streamlight, and loaded with 110 grain V-Max. Subs will just over penetrate where the V-Max has less of a chance of passing through.

My night stand holds my current EDC pistol, a Beretta Apex Carry with factory installed Vortex RDS. There is a rechargeable handheld flashlight in there as well. 124 gr XTP loads in the mag.

The wife has a Ruger GP100 4.5" .357 Mag ,158 gr HP, in her nightstand with same handheld flashlight. She has several pistols to choose from, she just loves the revolver for simplicity. She carries a .357 Ruger LCR for CCW.

SBR'd CZ Scorpion with Omega 9K can, (yeah, it's a two-stamper) Streamlight Protac, PA 2nd gen prism optic and a load of Speer Gold Dots in the magazine and leaned up against the night stand.

In the night stand; the Walther PDP compact longslide with Streamlight and Holosun, also carrying Speer Gold Dots in it's magazine. Love me some Gold Dots!
