What's your red dot setup?

For those of you who use a red dot sight on your serious firearms, what optic size and mounting height have you come to trust? Are you aligning it with your iron sights, keeping it lower, or not using irons at all? I'd love to hear about your firearm model, the optic you chose, your mounting setup, and how you’ve arranged your irons so we can see what setups are effective.

I’ve tried using just optics and while it’s great for range practice, I prefer having my iron sights as a backup for situations where I really need reliability. They don’t take up space and they’re there if I ever find myself in a pinch.
