Pistol recoil springs

Just out of curiosity, how frequently do you change the recoil springs in your pistols?

I don’t really follow a specific round count, I just monitor how the gun is functioning. If I start to see inconsistent ejection, if the slide feels like it’s moving too quickly or if the recoil changes, that’s when I know it’s time to change.
