Are the latest micro-9 pistol releases a sign that the design has reached its limit or do you think there’s still room for companies to come up with truly original concepts?

I don't think we've hit the limit yet, though. Materials and recoil systems are always being improved. Someone's going to figure out how to get even more control out of those tiny frames eventually

It feels more like we're just seeing things get refined rather than completely reinvented. They're definitely improving but it's not in any big, splashy kind of way.

I remember shooting a first-gen micro-9 beside a newer release at an indoor range and the difference in shootability made me realize the design is still evolving in subtle but real ways.

I carried a Kahr CW9 for years before I moved to a Ruger RxM. Worked fine once broken in, a real sleeper in the compact 9mm world.
