For those of you tuning a suppressed AR, how important was the impact of your muzzle device and thread selection on the gas behavior? I'm eager to know which mounting systems and brake styles performed best alongside your gas block settings, buffer weights, and port sizes. If you have any detailed build info, don’t hesitate to drop it!

Alan I have 3 ARs and run all suppressed. At least you'll need an adjustable gas block to get it to throw brass to 4 o'clock. I run AB cans with dead air parts so I can switch can between guns. Have 6 setup to accept a can

I don't use adjustable gasblocks, and the two ARs I use suppressed. I run SiCo flash suppressors and my Omega 300 with ASR adapter. The majority of my brass lands where it should from my 5.56 carbine and .300 BLK pistol. I wouldn't change anything on your AR until you need to.

My 5.56 is a factory Colt M-4orgery and my .300 BLK pistol is an Aero lower with no-name parts kit off of gunbroker. I haven't needed to change anything. I'm not high colume shooting with either, I use the M4 for coyote calling, and the .300 for deer hunting from a blind or thermal night hunting hogs when I'm down in Oklahoma.
