I have a 14.5" pinned mid-length setup, and I'm pretty stoked about it. I've paired an Aero lower with a BCM upper, and to add some solid rigidity and sleek lines, I went for a Geissele MK8 handguard. On top of that, I've got a Primary Arms SLx 1-6x ACSS optic; it's perfect for quick shots up close, but it still lets me stretch it out a bit when I want to.

The PA SLx 1-6x is a great optic for the price. The ACSS took me some getting used to at first but once you figure it out it works great. I gave mine to my son for his Recce build but I’m looking for another.
