Short-barreled folks

For those of you running short-barreled ARs in the 10.5–12.5 range, I’d love to know what setups you’ve discovered that manage to balance smooth cycling while minimizing gas blowback. What recoil systems and gas configurations have you found to be the most effective?

Using a 10.5" barrel with the gas closed off and an H3 buffer has really reduced blowback compared to the stock configuration. Short barrels require careful tuning since they can be pretty terrible when suppressed. Gas adjustment is key as well.
