Welcome, I love that area of El Paso county. Some huge Mule Deer in your neighborhood. I've seen several elk and a few bear in there as well.

Got here in 1997. Regretted not moving to Black Forest - it's is beautiful and peaceful there - until the great fire summer 2013. I was in the middle of a class when the contract instructor got a frantic call from his wife - he scurried out, packed his valuables in a camper, and beat feet while his house burned. I had one friend who returned from a vacation to find nothing left of his house but the foundation and (as I heard) puddles of melted aluminum where his cars had been.

Lost two friends in that fire.

I hope you missed all that. I can see BF from my deck in Briargate.
