If you happen to be in the Denver area, you should check out the Family Shooting Center at Cherry Creek State Park. For me it’s hands-down the most laid-back public shooting range I’ve come across in Colorado, and I keep going back for a bunch of good reasons. The range officers are really helpful and friendly without being annoying. If you ask for tips, they'll gladly share them, but they won’t be breathing down your neck the whole time or making you feel like a total newbie.Does anyone know of any chill shooting spots or ranges where I can just drop by? It'd be awesome if there’s a ranger or staff around to help out without making it a big deal.
