hey everyone, just picked up my first 10/22, and wow, I see why folks love 'em! shoots super smooth outta the box, but man, the customization potential is wild. trying to pace myself but also wanna make it mine, ya know? what's the first upgrade or mod you all would recommend? looking for the stuff that really makes a difference or just adds to the fun. thanks for any tips!

Good starter gun for home smithing projects. You can get just about everything installed without a bunch of headaches. Keep it simple, good trigger, good glass, and a better barrel and stock. Keep in mind, after you spend a grand on beefing it up, at the end of the day, it is still a 10/22 Ruger and you will never get your money out of it, so just have fun. IMHO Volquartsen makes the best aftermarket accessories for the 10/22
