I've been thinking about picking up a new folding knife and would love to hear what everyone else is using. Any recommendations for durable, all-purpose options? Feel free to share pics of your favorites!

Can't go wrong with Spyderco... these are all in rotation and were bought at the last Second's Sale (Annually happens the Saturday before Thanksgiving weekend). Except for the Schempp Rock Salt, Ed Schempp graciously engraved it for me (one of his creations) ;)

I agree with Toxophilus. Spyderco. Carry 2 every day for last 40 years. Started caring the old POLICE model when I started as a cop. Still carry them today.

I like my Benchmade. Has magna cut steel. Spendy but good. A word of caution. My first Benchmade , or so I thought, came from Ebay, Thought I got a bargain. Lost a screw on the back side of the knife and ordered a couple new ones from Benchmade. They didn't fit so I thought the insert piece was stripped out. Contacted Benchmade and I had to send it to them for that part. Turns out it was a knock off and their policy was to scrap it. Which I totally understand. They did give me a 50 dollar rebate on a new knife from them so that is what I carry know. I thought that was very good of them. I was upset with them for not sending my other one back but I get it. The bad part is it was a good knife also. ATS 34 steel if I remember correctly. The stupid thing is if somebody is going to go to that much trouble to build a knock off, and a good one, why don't they just put their own name on it. I looked it over a lot before I bought it. After all that happened I did some more looking and the only difference was that piece that I lost the screw out of.
