Is Ramen Worth It for Prepping?

Thinking about ramen in the prep stash. Sure, it's not super nutritious, but it's cheap, filling, and lasts ages! I've got a few cases put away, but how long do they really last after the date? Anyone got tips on better storage than just keeping the packs in the box? Do you guys rotate ramen often or have tricks to spice it up for long-term use? Seems like they stick around longer than expected!

Yes, definitely rotate out the ramem.
The oil in noodles gets bad. I had to throw away a bunch because of old oil.

The same goes with any kind of taco shell or tortilla shell that is hard shelled.
I do not know about the soft shelled.
