I'm really passionate about home defense setups and practical shooting sports and also I've been eyeing some local IDPA matches, but I still need to gather the courage to join in

Go to the Practical Competition Shooting League (PCSL) match at Centennial Gun Club. PCSL is incredibly friendly to brand new competition shooters. You can have a mentor assigned to you for the match when you select “Coachable Shooter” during registration. You don’t even need to have a holster or mag pouches. It’s a great way to get started and it’s a lot of fun! I’m happy to help if you have any questions.
