I’ve been experimenting with different bore cleaners and I’m curious to hear what you all recommend. What products do you find remove copper and carbon buildup effectively without damaging the bore? Any horror stories with certain brands?

Hoppe's No. 9 is still my go-to. Just don't let it sit for too long.

I used to use Hoppes #9 for everything. It did the job, but honestly, it barely touches copper. I had my .308 rifle shooting at 1.5 MOA, and I figured that was just the best I could do. But then, I finally decided to give it a proper deep clean with Bore Tech. I was shocked by how much copper came out. I had no idea there was that much buildup in there.
