Just picked up a pristine ‘96 10/22 with the hammer forged bull barrel… came with a vintage Tasco 4-16x… one of those scopes that you could take off and use as a club and you wouldn’t affect the zero…
This is a model I’ve been wanting to get my hands on for a long time, just never had the opportunity. It’s a great looking rifle, especially with that old school glass on top.
Looking forward to taking it out to see what it can do.

Can’t wait to see that beauty out at the range! I bet it’s gonna group shots at 50 yards like it’s got a mind of its own. When you finally take it for a spin, I really want to hear how it performs especially with that bull barrel.

Citadel Trakr .17 HMR impulse purchase on gunbroker.com for about $225. Not the best made rifle, and this one is actually a warranty replacement for my first that had a bad chamber. I probably won't keep it long and I'll gift it to one of my nephews. My daughter is too much of a snob to shoot this plastic rifle. It'll still hold about 1.5 MOA at 100 with most ammunition.

Here is the first iteration with Nikko Sterling scope and chamber issues.

Bergara BMR, great little rifle and extremely accurate. This rifle really loves standard velocity ammunition especially CCI and Aguilla.

Ammo testing 50 yds with the Bergara.

Savage 93 .22 WMR bought it as a packaged deal for under $200 over 20 years ago with a Simmons 3-9X40 scope, and synthetic stock. I upgraded the stock to a Richard's Microfit to improve the weight balance, glass bedded, and honed the trigger. In the last couple of years I've upgraded the optic to an Athlon 3-12X40 Mil-Dot and threaded the barrel for my suppressor. It really likes Federal 30 grain TNT ammunition, 30 grain V-Max is a close second. Killed several hundred praire dogs and a couple of coyotes with this rifle.

I’m hoping to get out Monday. I’ll definitely post pics.
