Hit up a local lake in Colorado last weekend, targeting some trout. The weather was pretty nice, a mix of sun and clouds, water temperature was decent too. I started off using power bait but switched to a couple of different spinners after not getting anything for a bit. Ended up hooking into a few smaller rainbows, nothing huge but fun to reel in. Lost one right at the bank—classic, right? I was fishing solo this time, but I couldn't help but think how my buddy would've loved it; gotta get him out next time.
